Jon brings a strong background in geology to the table in his climbing outings. His patient style makes for outings that will leave you with an understanding of technical skills and geomorphology.
James Oulstrom
Sarah has a background in Child Development. Her love of children, plus her need to be outdoors has led to her working in a variety of outdoor environments as both an outdoor educator and guide over the last 10 years. Her passions are endless and ever-changing; they include biking, rafting, skiing, climbing, yoga, etc. She loves to inspire others to enjoy nature and connect with it on a personal and scientific level.
Sarah Slankard
Raised in the Sierra Nevada mountains, Matt Slankard has been enthralled with adventures in the outdoors for his entire life. So much so that it has been his career for over a decade. He has led groups to tops of mountains, down river canyons, ascended cliffs, and ripped down slopes. Each time has provided a meaningful and impactful experience for both him and his guests.

Nick began his raft guiding career volunteering on the American River in the Sierra Nevada Foothills. He has always found deep meaning in sharing his passion for water with newcomers to outdoor sports. Whether it was ocean kayaking in Seward Alaska, or raft guiding in northern California he always strives to share the knowledge of the local environment and his industry.
